Accessing electronic resources for new UWA staff

I'm a new staff member at UWA, how can I get access to the University Library electronic resources?

The University Library's electronic resources are available through OneSearch. In your OneSearch search results list, electronic items are recognised by the green "Available Online" link. To access the resource you can click on this link and then on the next page choose the subscription through which you would like to access the resource.

You will need an institutional login to access electronic resources. There are several ways to achieve an institutional login and which you use will depend on where you are and what kind of device you are using.

If you are connected to the UWA campus network, e.g. using a university computer and Pheme credentials or connecting via VPN: your institutional login will be recognised when accessing resources through OneSearch.  Although it is not necessary for accessing most electronic resources there are many good reasons to sign into OneSearch using the link in the top right corner of the page.

If you are not connected to the UWA network, e.g. logged in as a 'Guest' on a university computer, using your own computer and network, or using Unifi: you will need to sign into OneSearch using the link in the top right corner of the page and your Pheme credentials for your institutional affiliation to be recognised by OneSearch and our subscription providers.

If you need help in using the electronic resources please contact staff in one of the libraries.
