ALVA assignment extensions
The Faculty approves extensions only in exceptional circumstances in order to ensure that all students are treated fairly and that submission date schedules, which are designed to produce ordered work patterns for students, are not disrupted. Extensions may be authorised only by your allocated Faculty Course Advising Office (if you are a Design student this is the ALVA Student Office ).
Special Consideration is required if you have circumstances beyond your control which affect your academic performance. You will need to complete the form and submit it no later than 3 university working days after the assessment for which you are requesting special consideration and you will need to also supply documentary evidence of your circumstances.
