Satisfying your broadening requirements while studying overseas

Will studying overseas satisfy my broadening requirements?
For undergraduate students, actual experience of participating in an approved Student Exchange Program will often satisfy your Category A broadening unit requirement. The recognition of additional Category A broadening units (some of which can be drawn from the area of knowledge of your degree specific major) can vary depending on what other Category A units you have already completed, so you are encouraged to consult your faculty for definitive individual advice. You may also choose to enrol in units that will satisfy Category B broadening requirements, provided your course permits this. Be sure to consider this when you are putting together your study plans.
