Guarantor requirements for a UWA student loan

Do I need a Guarantor for a UWA student loan?

You do require a guarantor for a UWA student loan. However, if you are applying for an Emergency Loan a Guarantor is not essential.

If it is not possible to get a Guarantor for your loan you must show your efforts to try and get a Guarantor. A Statutory Declaration explaining reasons why you do not have a Guarantor must be included in your application.

Someone financially linked to you (i.e. spouse, partner etc) cannot guarantee your loan.
