University Library membership for UWA graduates

Can I become a member of the University Library if I am a UWA graduate?

There are three ways that a UWA graduate can become a member of the University Library:

1. Free 12 month Alumni membership for new UWA graduates who are subscribing members to Convocation. New UWA graduates who are subscribing members of Convocation can apply for 12 months free University Library Affiliate membership. To be eligible you must apply for the University Library membership within the same year as your graduation. Please refer to our Alumni and Friends webpage for more information and details on applying.

2. Affiliate membership for UWA graduates who are also subscribing members of Convocation. If you are ineligible for free Alumni membership, you can still become a member. If you are a subscribing member of Convocation you can apply to become a Library Affiliate member at a discounted rate of $99 per annum. Please refer to our Alumni and Friends webpage for more information and details on applying.

3. Community membership without Convocation Membership. If you are not a subscribing member of Convocation, you can become a Community member of the University Library at the standard rate of $165 per annum. Please refer to our Visitors webpage for more information and details on applying.

All of our Alumni, Affiliate and Community members may borrow items from the collection and access online resources for walk in use, if licences permit. Remote access to online resources is not available to Community members because of licencing restrictions. Alumni Affiliate members have remote access to a variety of online resources.
