You can study on exchange for one or two semesters, the choice is entirely up to you and your circumstances. A year on exchange gives you a greater experience of the lifestyle and culture of your exchange destination, but can be more difficult for some students to fit within their course and responsibilities. Students who have spent only a semester overseas still highly recommend the experience. It is an important consideration, but you must keep in mind course and/or financial restrictions when planning your exchange. Please make sure you consult with your Student Advising Office to determine if you may fit a semester or year of exchange in your degree.
