IRDS explained
The UWA Institutional Research Data Store (IRDS) provides researchers with a centralised, secure and UWA approved data storage service in which to store digital research data. It is recommended for active research data storage, together with StudentDrive and MS Teams/Sharepoint.
The IRDS is available to all UWA researchers. This includes Academic Staff, Professional Staff and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Students.
You will need to complete a Research Data Management Plan (RDMP) before you request a new IRDS share. The UWA Research Data Hub support guide provides guidance for creating a RDMP within the UWA Research Data Storage Hub and submitting a data storage request.
See UWA's Research Data Management Toolkit for more information about storing active research data.
