The UWA Institutional Research Data Store (IRDS) provides researchers with a centralised, secure, and UWA approved data storage service in which to store digital research data. The UWA IRDS is recommended for active research data storage, together with UWA OneDrive and MS Teams/Sharepoint.
The IRDS is available to all UWA researchers. This includes Academic Staff, Professional Staff, and Higher Degree by Research (HDR) Students.
You will need to complete a Research Data Management Plan (RDMP) within the UWA Research Data Hub before you can request new IRDS storage. The UWA Research Data Hub Support guide provides guidance for creating an RDMP and submitting a data storage request within the UWA Research Data Hub.
See UWA's Research Data Management Toolkit for more information about storing active research data.
