Turnitin is a web-based assessment software that supports online assignment submission, release, text matching, marking and feedback.
Turnitin is a teaching and learning tool designed to support both students and staff in the advancement of better scholarship. When used in partnership with other academic integrity resources such as STUDYSmarter, Academic Conduct Essentials (ACE) and Communication and Research Skills (CARS) it can help you to develop your skills and gives you a better ethical awareness of academic integrity. At UWA Turnitin is available through the Turnitin Direct Assignment tool in the Learning Management System (LMS).
For further information, see the Library's Text matching guide and try the Turnitin topic within the Student LMS Help site.
