Doing a McCusker Centre for Citizenship internship if your timetable is full
I do not have enough room in my timetable; can I still do a McCusker Centre for Citizenship Internship?

Before applying, please consider all of your commitments for the teaching period. McCusker Centre for Citizenship internships require:
During Semesters
- 100 hours of internship
- Online Placement Induction Program (PIP) – 1 hour
- Seminar 1 - Introduction to Active Citizenship (IAC) - 2 hours
- Seminar 2 - Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training (ACAT) - 2 hours
- Seminar 3 - Review - 2 hours
- Seminar 4 - Review - 2 hours
- Student Advisory Committee (SAC) Event attendance – 2 hours
- Two reflective journal entries
During Summer or Winter Intensive
- 100 hours of internship
- Online Placement Induction Program (PIP) Module – 2 hours
- Seminar 1 - Introduction to Active Citizenship (IAC) - 2 hours
- Seminar 2 - Aboriginal Cultural Awareness Training (ACAT) - 2 hours
- Seminar 3 - Review - 2 hours
- Two reflective journal entries
Semester internships require interns to work one full day per week at the host organisation. Winter and Summer internships require interns to work a minimum of three full days per week at the host organisation.
Failure to complete the requirements will result in an UF (ungraded fail) result recorded on the formal academic transcript.
