Not enjoying course / major

What do I do if I'm not enjoying my course / major?

Have a think about what it is you don't like about your course / major. What are your interests and hobbies? What are your likes and dislikes? What do you want out of a career?

The Careers Centre has a range of tools and resources that can help you explore your career and course options. You can access information and resources by attending an initial triage drop-in. These drop-in sessions run Monday to Friday 9:00am-12:00pm.

Alternatively, you can complete one of our online modules ‘Module 1: Self-Awareness’. This module allows students to gain a better understanding of what is important to them to have in a career. It also gives our careers advisers a better understanding of what you are interested in so we can give you more specific advice. Once you have completed the module you will also be able to book careers appointments online via the 'Career Advice Appointments' option on the 'Dashboard' tab on CareerHub. The module contains some information and a few career quizzes. You complete module 1 by following the instructions listed here.
