Assistance to find graduate employment

Can the University assist me to find graduate employment at the end of my degree?

Assistance is available; however, you should use a diverse job search strategy and plan your transition to the work place. The most important thing to remember is not to wait until you have finished your degree!

Some employers use summer vacation work to identify potential graduates while others visit campus early in 1st semester. Employers book a lecture theatre and present an overview of graduate positions within their company. You can find the employer visits schedule and vacancy listings on Career Hub. Many students are committed to employers before their course actually finishes.

Smaller organisations usually start looking for graduates later in the year, closer to when they are needed and may restrict their advertising to Career Hub.

You should start your job search early and spend some time on this every week during the final year of your degree.
