Recognition of volunteering hours

I completed formal volunteering with UWA, how do I access my Volunteer Statement?

Approved formal volunteering positions are recorded on a Volunteer Statement which is available for download as a PDF on studentConnect under the heading 'Volunteering'. These hours are not recorded on your formal academic transcript.

A Community Impact digital badge will be awarded on My eQuals for volunteering activities that have been conducted through any of our recognised volunteer providers. You must complete at least 40 hours of volunteering within one calendar year to be awarded a badge. For the moment Volunteering hours that do not exceed 40 hours will continue to be recognised on the Volunteer Statement. Learn more about badges here.

Each department is responsible for uploading its own hours onto a student's record. If you think you have hours missing or an incomplete record please contact the person who organised your volunteering opportunity.

For more information about volunteering and how you can get involved, check out the opportunities on the Guild Volunteering website.
