Difference between SVLG5003 and a McCusker Internship

What is the difference between a McCusker Centre Internship and SVLG5003 Wicked Problems?

The McCusker Centre internships are individual community service placements, in which you undertake work directly for your host organisation. We have a variety of unit codes for these - postgraduate and undergraduate - and the unit is an ungraded pass or fail.

In our Wicked Problems Units - SVLG5003 (postgraduate) and SVLG2008 (undergraduate), you will work in a multidisciplinary team of students on work for one specific organisation, in collaboration with a range of community stakeholders and UWA staff. The emphasis is on collaboration, and solving complex problems and the design of the unit reflects that, with an emphasis on cross disciplinary working and communication across difference. The assessments for SVLG5003 is graded; whilst SVLG2008 is an ungraded pass or fail.
