What are the contact hours and assessments for a WIL placement unit?

To meet the unit academic requirements you must provide evidence you have completed a minimum 100 hours in a pre-approved learning in a professional workplace. You can arrange how you structure these 100 hours over the teaching period with your host organisation.

As all the placement units are for academic credit, there are also a number of assessments that need to be completed to meet the requirements of the unit. These can be found in the UWA Handbook and unit outline once enrolled on LMS.

Your host company will also need to complete paperwork on your behalf.
Note: this unit is assessed as an Ungraded Pass/Ungraded Fail. You will not receive a final numerical result.
