It’s really important that students wishing to undertake a placement unit are well prepared and plan ahead!
You are unable to use the commitments of a placement unit as grounds for Special Consideration purposes. It will be your responsibility to manage your workload and negotiate with the host company as required.
Unit outlines are released before the commencement of semester. You may need to make alternative arrangements if assessments/exams fall on the same day as your placement/internship.
Don't forget the WIL Placement Team and Academic Coordinator are here to help. For further information please visit the WIL Placements and Internships web page.
