Special Approval is the process to apply for a variation to standard rules, including course/major/unit rules and enrolment dates.
For example, Special Approval is required to:
- Enrol in more than the standard credit points per semester (enrolment overload).
- Enrol in additional points to degree.
- Enrol in a unit late.
- Enrol in a unit without meeting prerequisite or corequisite rules.
To apply, complete the online Special Approval form. Your application will be assessed by your Student Advising Office and you will be notified of the outcome via your student email account.
