About the scholarship
Application Status: Automatically Awarded (No application required) for commencement 2020
Applicable study: To assist and encourage high-achieving students, who comprise the top 10% of Year 12 WACE graduands in targeted schools in Western Australia, to commence and pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University.
Closing date: January 2020
Tenure: A maximum of six semesters, plus an additional two semesters for honours if applicable.

Number on offer: NA
Offer rate: per annum where applicable
Value: as per below outline (refer to the conditions for further details)
- $5,000 per annum for recipients from regional and remote schools residing at University Hall or another UWA affiliated residential college (residential college);
- $1,500 per annum for regional and remote students residing out of residential college; or
- $1,500 total for recipients from targeted Metropolitan schools.

The UWA Hackett Scholarship is provided by The University of Western Australia (‘the University’) alongside the UWA Principal’s Citizenship Award to assist and encourage high-achieving students, who comprise the top 10% of Year 12 WACE graduands in targeted schools in Western Australia, to commence and pursue a bachelor’s degree at the University.
