Genuine temporary entrant evaluation form for international students

How do I complete the genuine temporary entrant evaluation form to demonstrate my intention to remain in Australia temporarily?

As an international student applying for a student visa to study at UWA, you are required to demonstrate your intention to remain in Australia temporarily. The genuine temporary entrant (GTE) requirement must be satisfied by students coming to study at UWA to ensure the student visa program is not being used as a way for international students to maintain ongoing residence in Australia.

Step 1: Fill in the form
This form should be filled in and submitted by the student applying to UWA. All questions must be answered honestly and in full. Failure to do so may render your application to UWA invalid.
Typing the form is permitted, provided the form is hand signed by the appropriate parties. The form is available at the bottom of this page.

Step 2: Submit the form
Scan all pages of the hand signed form and submit as part of your acceptance, as per the instructions in your offer letter.

Step 3: Await a response from UWA
A UWA staff member will be in touch regarding the outcome of your form's assessment. An in-person or video interview may be conducted if further information is required regarding your form.
