Marks not finalised in time to attend the graduation ceremony
What if my marks are not finalised in time to attend the graduation ceremony I applied for?
If your marks are not finalised in time for you to be included in the graduation ceremony you have applied for, we will contact you to advise you of this and we will move your application to the next round of graduation ceremonies. This means you do not have to apply to graduate again.
- If you are attending a ceremony, check your UWA student email account regularly. Provided you complete your course requirements by the appropriate date, we will email you to ask you to confirm your attendance in the next round of graduation ceremonies, which will be July 2019. You don't need to apply to graduate again but you do need to confirm your attendance otherwise your application to graduate at a ceremony will be cancelled.
- If you have applied to graduate in-absentia, no further action is needed as your application will be moved to the next in-absentia conferral, which will be in January 2019. Provided you complete your course, your award certificate will be mailed to you.
The dates for the next round of graduation ceremonies and the ceremony dates for individual Faculties are published on the UWA graduation web page.
