As an Australia Awards awardee you will receive a non-taxable Contribution to Living Entitlement (CLE).  At UWA, this is called your ‘stipend’.  

 

You will be eligible for your stipend from the date you arrived in Australia. The payment will be made fortnightly into your nominated Australian bank account. Your first payment will be made on the first available UWA pay day. It's possible you will need to wait up to three weeks for your first payment to be made into your bank account. Your Establishment Entitlement should be available to you during this period.
