GENG5010 Professional Engineering Portfolio

What is GENG5010 Professional Engineering Portfolio?
All students commencing the Master of Professional Engineering (MPE) at UWA from 2017 must complete the GENG5010 Professional Engineering Portfolio unit. The portfolio requires the successful completion of at least 450 hours (12 weeks) of suitable professional practicum experience, and attainment of the 16 mandatory Elements of Competency outlined in the Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competency Standard for Professional Engineer.

BE, BCompSc, and MPE students who commenced prior to 2017 must submit either a Professional Practicum Report or a Professional Practicum Portfolio. Professional practice is a compulsory requirement of your degree.

You will not be able to graduate until this work experience is completed and you submit a portfolio assessed as satisfactory.
