Yes.  You must provide evidence of your English competency level, by one of the means listed on the relevant UWA page.

 

UWA does not accept statements of English proficiency from employers, other tertiary institutions or GRE tests as evidence in meeting the above requirements.

 

Unless you have undertaken several years of education in the UK, USA, New Zealand or Australia, the language requirement will need to be met.
