How do I know if I can have an extension?

A primary HDR stipend scholarship (eg RTP, UPA) is typically awarded for 3.5 years for students who started in 2024.
Students who commenced earlier than 2024, may have received a primary stipend scholarship awarded for 3 years with an extension of 6 months possible upon application.
Check your Scholarship Letter of Offer to identify whether your scholarship length is 3 years or 3.5 years OR you can check the scholarships tab on your profile in HDRhub.
If you wish to apply for a scholarship extension, submit an application in HDRHub about 4 weeks before the expiry date. Look for the extension application under the Candidature management button on your profile page.
