Before you can submit your thesis, an Intention to Submit form will need to be completed. The Intention to Submit is shown as 'Notice to submit' on your Milestones and goals page. This is normally due 3 months before your maximum thesis submission date for a full-time student. This will inform your supervisors that the thesis is at the final stage of submission and that they can start looking for suitable examiners for you.

Follow the steps below to initiate the Intention to Submit form:
1. Log in to HDRhub
2. Click on "My Project"
3. Scroll down to "Examinations"
4. In the box that says "Would you like to create an examination record?" Click "Start"
5. Follow the prompts

If you are a fee-paying international student or do not have additional scholarship entitlements, there will be fee implications when you extend your candidature time limit or when your thesis submission is approved past the maximum submission date.
