  • Enrolled doctoral students are encouraged to plan ahead for their future research internship. You can co-design the R&D internship project with the research end-user organisation (REU) and plan how it might contribute to your thesis & professional development.
  • A good time to do this is when you are preparing your Research Proposal and your completion plan to accommodate a minimum of 60 business days over 3 months for a research internship any time to suit your completion plan.
  • Check the Professional Development events & attend a HDR Research Internship Seminar & Q&As via HDRhub.
  • In HDRhub, add your own Goal to submit a research internship agreement before 18 months on commencement of full time studies, or part time equivalent 36 months.
See when and how to apply for HDR internships for checklist, and templates.
