No need to supsend your scholarship stipend on receipt of a research internship stipend. In fact we encourage you to continue to receive both payments during the period of your internship and manage your finances accordingly.
You do need to check that the internship stipend payment, and any other income, does not exceed 75% of your base RTP scholarship.
If it is over the 75% cap, you'll need to suspend your scholarship payments while receiving a paid research internship stipend from UWA, for example via an advertised research internship through APR Intern, or iPREP.
- Review the conditions of your scholarship and consider tax implications.
- Submit your fully executed research internship agreement in HDRhub via the Confirm REUE tab (after you have Applied for REUE).
Login to HDRhub
Under Development, click Research end user engagement tab
Click Confirm REUE tab and complete the fields, upload your documents, and save.
When UWA is paying the internship stipend, complete the payment form and email us.
