Students own the copyright in their thesis and the IP that they create, unless they agree in writing to assign IP to others (Intellectual Property Policy).
At the commencement of the research project (Research Integrity Policy), HDR students must provide the Graduate Research School with a copy of all:
- confidentiality agreements;
- research agreements;
- memoranda of understanding;
- memoranda of agreement;
- student project agreements;
- data agreements; and
- any other written agreement related to their studies.
