Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students may be permitted to enrol into coursework units up to a maximum value of 24 points if necessary for successful completion of their HDR program.
HDR students may also enrol concurrently in a UWA Micro-credential, certificate, diploma, or other coursework program at UWA, whilst completing their HDR program.
Applications to enrol into coursework must be lodged before the last day to add a unit. Check the teaching periods for your units carefully.
-
Login to HDRhub using your student ID.
-
Go to 'My project', 'Coursework', and 'Create new application'.
Your application must be endorsed by your Coordinating Supervisor and Graduate Research Coordinator (GRC).
Once an application to enrol into a concurrent program at UWA is approved by the Graduate Research School (GRS), you can apply for admission into the coursework program via the appropriate school.
You are responsible for ensuring you have met all prerequisites and that you are eligible to into the coursework unit. As this constitutes a formal enrolment, you will be required to complete the assessment and be graded, or a fail mark will be recorded for this unit.
You can withdraw from a coursework unit by contacting the GRS, however you must do so before the last day to withdraw early so units won't show on your formal record.
