Individual coursework units
HDR students should contact the relevant unit coordinator and request permission to audit their unit. Approval to audit a unit is at the discretion of the unit coordinator, whose details can be found in the unit’s handbook.

Concurrent program
HDR students who wish to undertake a UWA micro‑credential, certificate, diploma, or other coursework program while enrolled in their HDR course must apply directly to the relevant UWA program.

Where required, students may request a letter from the Graduate Research School (GRS) confirming approval to concurrently enrol. Approval from the GRS to concurrently enrol does not guarantee admission to the coursework program, which is subject to the program’s own entry requirements and selection processes.
