How can UWA Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students engage with industry?

UWA Higher Degree by Research (HDR) students can engage in research with industry (businesses, government, not-for-profit and community organisations) during their studies through multiple pathways:
- A research internship with industry that is related to your area of study and interest.
- HDR Scholarships and Projects where you may work alongside with industry during your studies.
- A PhD is directly linked to an industry partner throughout your studies.
- Join UWA academics who are working closely with industry, including spin out companies, who can share their network with students.
- Select from course units & programs during your studies to build your skills in commercialisation and entrepreneurialism!
- Plus there will be opportunities to attend conferences and events with industry on campus or overseas as part of your course.
