Taking the internship as a micro-credential

Do I have to take the internship for credit or can I do this for 0 credits?

Typically, all our internships require interns to enrol in a for-credit unit.

If you are eligible to take the internship within your degree, your offer will be subject to enrolling in one of the following units: SVLG2002, or SVLG3003 (undergraduate); or SVLG5001 (postgraduate).

If you are not eligible to take the internship within your degree (the McCusker Centre requires written confirmation from your Student Advising Office, if that is the case), you may be offered a placement subject to completing the micro-credential (via UWA+). It is important to note that the Micro-credential is separate from your degree and cannot be credited towards your course. You should discuss your situation with the McCusker Centre for Citizenship to determine the best option for your circumstances.
