You can undertake a self-sourced internship for credit. If you have arranged your own internship and would like academic credit, you need to complete the Expression of Interest Stage 1 via SONIA to advise the WIL Team and then also complete a Self Sourced Internship Proposal Form (SSIPF). The internship needs to be reviewed and approved by the WIL Team who will also contact your potential host for further information. Some basic requirements are that the internship relates to your area of study, is a new appointment, and will be supervised by an experienced professional.
