Advance your skills. Advance your career.
Participating in UWA Advance co-curricular activities is a way to enhance your education and help you showcase skills and experiences beyond your classes at UWA.

UWA students can achieve a digital badge that recognises completing co-curricular activities, a badge that can be shared online through your LinkedIn profile or within your resume, informing future employers about your practical experience and transferable skills.

What are UWA Advance digital badges?
Enhance your employability by completing co-curricular activities in the UWA Advance program.

Digital badges are certificates of achievement that you can share online within your networks, such as LinkedIn. To achieve a badge, you must apply to and complete a co-curricular activity approved by UWA Advance.Badges help articulate your co-curricular experience and professional value to future employers, as well as document the value of the experience you have achieved.

Share your digital badge online through your LinkedIn profile or in your resume to let future employers know what practical experience and transferable skills you can offer. Articulate your skills, advance your career!

How do I earn badges?

  1. Apply to an activity or program that has been approved by UWA Advance for a full digital badge.
  2. Complete the eligibility requirements of the activity or program (e.g. 25 to 50 hours of unpaid commitment).
  3. Activity coordinators will award the badge through the Milestone platform, which will be emailed to you.
Note: Digital badges are awarded in the calendar year of the activity or program you completed.
