The only reason we would ever breach this confidentiality is if we have a strong reason to believe that someone's safety is at risk. In these circumstances we will always try to talk to you about our concerns before we would talk to anyone else on your behalf.

The UWA Counselling and Psychological Services maintains all records in keeping with the Australian Psychological Society standards of professional conduct. These are kept in secure files only accessible to counselling staff.
