The integrated professional degree is designed for students in Arts, Commerce, and Science comprehensive degrees, check the Handbook to see if your major is offered under the relevant course. You can get in touch with your Student Advising Office for advice on whether an integrated degree makes sense based on your current course, assured pathway, or plans for further study.
When you transfer retain your degree-specific major (and second major if you have one). You will still need to meet your Degree-specific academic requirements/ units, the integrated components add professional development and recognised work experience, they do not replace core/compulsory major/s requirements.
You do not have to be at the very beginning of your studies to transfer into an integrated degree, though early transfer is generally preferred so the professional pathway can be experienced in full. Having already completed some study means you are in a position to make a more informed choice about how you want to shape the remainder of your degree.
