If you're experiencing an academic issue with your unit, we encourage you to first discuss the matter with your Unit Coordinator, as many issues can be resolved quickly at the unit level.
If you've already spoken with your Unit Coordinator, or you're unable to resolve the issue, you can submit a request through the Request to Resolve a Minor Academic Issue with My Unit form. The Student Matters Team will review your request and advise on the next steps.
An academic issue can include things such as:
- Unit outline is out of date, inaccurate or not available on LMS
- Unit does not comply with the Assessment Policy
- You have not received any feedback 15 University working days after the submission date, as required by the Assessment Policy
- You have not received feedback in the first half of the teaching period
- An assessment has been set in the pre-exam study break
- Your EVA outcome has not been applied after contacting your unit coordinator
- Your UAAP outcome has not been applied after contacting your unit coordinator
- You have a scheduled class during the common lunch hour
- You have a class (for an undergraduate unit) on the day of PROSH before 12pm
- You have a digital assessment due at a time other than 11:59pm and the unit does not have an exemption
- Your tutor or unit coordinator is often late or missing class regularly
- The content required for your unit is not available on LMS
- A recording of my lecture is not available without notification in LMS, as required by the Lecture Capture Policy
- Results have been released and I have a NA or WH grade without been contacted by my UC or academic integrity
