You may wish to review accessible features available on your smart devices for assistance with note taking, speech to text, audio to transcript and magnification.

Microsoft Accessibility Tools

Apple Accessibility Tools

  • Apple Support on Youtube. This is a good resource if seeking to use accessibility features and would like to have them demonstrated

Specialised software such as Jaws, Zoomtext, Dragon and Texthelp Read and Write  are very helpful. For more information about specialised software, speak to the team at UniAccess - UWA's Disability Office.

You can book online to meet with an Accessibility Advisor to discuss your support needs:

You can also request an appointment via the UniAccess call back line which is regularly monitored  (+61 8) 6488 4630 or email uniaccess@uwa.edu.au.
