Unable to log into studentConnect

What should I do if I can't login to studentConnect?

If you cannot log in to studentConnect, first check you are using the right username (your UWA student ID number) and your Uni ID password.

Your Uni ID password expires every six months, whether you are currently enrolled, deferred, studying or have graduated. If you have forgotten your password go to the Uni ID Student help web page for instructions.

If you have not yet activated your Uni ID, read the instructions for activating your new network account.

To reset your password follow the instructions on the IT Website.
Note: this requires your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Microsoft Authenticator app to be already set up and working.
If you let your password expire instead of changing it before the expiry (via the notification emails to your student account), MFA may not work correctly.

If you have not previously set up MFA or it is not working, you will need to use the older method to reset your password via the Pheme website.
Click on Students, then click the link below the login boxes Forgotten my password.

You will be prompted with both of your challenge questions, and will need to enter the correct answers for both. You can set a new password as soon as you have entered the correct answers to your challenge questions.
If you have forgotten the answers to your challenge questions you will need to visit one of our Libraries in person with some photo ID (such as your campus card) or phone a library on 6488 1255, as sensitive details such as password information can not be sent via email or text.

Once you have reset your password, you will need to "forget" the Unifi wifi network on any devices you have that automatically connect to the wifi on campus. This is an important step to ensure you are not locked out of your account. The next time you come onto campus and within range of the Unifi wifi network, you can connect to Unifi and will be prompted for your new password.

If studentConnect is unavailable for any reason outage notices are normally posted on the UWA Students Facebook page and on the studentConnect homepage.
