This is a question for your home university in the first instance. UWA will not treat your application differently based on your being in the final year of your course, but it is important to discuss with your own university issues such as any impact on the timing of your graduation and course completion. 

For student visa purposes, you will need to take a full time load of units, so factor this into your discussions with your home university.
