The best time for you to study overseas will depend on your UWA course requirements. Provided you meet the eligibility requirements including completion of the equivalent of at least one semester at UWA at the time of application.
The first semester of the second year is the earliest time undergraduate students will be permitted to go on a semester of exchange. It may be inadvisable to go on exchange in the final semester of your course if you need to complete a large number of core units, however your Student Advising Office will be able to advise you given your specific degree and circumstances.
Where possible, you are encouraged to save elective units for any exchange period as they allow flexibility in your exchange study plan.
Postgraduate students should check with the Global Learning Office and their Student Advising Office for special academic requirements.
