What software is available on library computers?

Computers in the Library run the Microsoft Windows 11, 64-bit operating system.  UniApps, UWA's virtual desktop is installed and available to all UWA staff and students which features most UWA coursework applications for your studies.

Visitors to the Library can use the Visitor Kiosk computers . There is access to selected software which includes:

  • Google Chrome*
  • Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2021
* Internet access is restricted to certain websites for visitors.

Library computers can read from and save to USB devices. USB CD/DVD drives are loanable from the information desk for Library members.

You must save all documents to a removable drive or your Student Drive.

There are also licensed software downloads available for installation on personal devices including EndNote, SPSS, Mathematica, SAS, MatLab and NVivo.
