UWA students and staff can use their own device to print from any UWA printer using Mobility Print or Web Print via the Unifi wifi network. You must have the document saved on your computer as a permitted file type and be connected to the internet. Documents that are large, or have images and algorithms embedded, can take a long time to load and may fail to print.
Mobility Print allows you to print documents direct from your Apple, Android, Windows or Chromebook personal device. After a once-off setup on your device, the 'Global' print queue, in addition to plotters (large format printers located in Reid Library and the Nedlands campus) will appear as selectable printers on your device.
Please note that Web Print has basic printing options only, and does not support printing multiple slides to a page, or printing a specific page range in a document. This can be achieved by using the in-built 'Print to PDF/Save as PDF' function on your device. Select the desired page ranges or collate multiples slides per page and print the document as a PDF. This new PDF can be uploaded as a print job via Web Print.
You can use these document printing guidelines to assist with printing.
Note: Web Print does not work on Apple iOS devices.
