NHMRC applications and the UWA Research Repository

Do I comply with NHMRC Funding Rules if my publications are not OA in the UWA Research Repository?
The NHMRC Funding Rules 2017, section 9.3 Dissemination of Scientific Results (Open Access, Data Sharing and Intellectual Property) states that:
“Funding recipients must ensure that they comply with NHMRC Open Access Policy (previously also referred to as the NHMRC Policy on the Dissemination of Research Findings)”.
The policy “requires that any peer-reviewed publication arising from NHMRC supported research must be made openly accessible in an institutional repository or other acceptable location (e.g. publisher website, subject repositories) within 12 months from the date of publication. This policy applies to all publications from 1st July 2012 except for peer-reviewed conference papers where it applies from 15th January 2018.” All recipients of NHMRC grants must comply with all elements of NHMRC Open Access Policy.
The Open Access Toolkit provides more information on how the UWA Research Repository meets the NHMRC Open Access Policy more generally.
