UWA students and staff can access Turnitin via the Turnitin assignment tool, within the Learning Management System (LMS). Students will only be able to use Turnitin if their unit coordinator has created a Turnitin assignment submission activity. Unit coordinators can select various options for the activity, including when, where, and how students can view originality /similarity reports.

Turnitin is required in the UWA Assessment Policy for all text-based assignments (where appropriate).  If you're not sure how your unit is using Turnitin, contact your unit coordinator.

Unit coordinators who need assistance with Turnitin should contact the Education Enhancement Unit (EEU) (formerly known as Centre for Education Futures).
