If the content of a unit is equivalent to or very similar to another unit then these unit are ‘Incompatible’.

 

This means you cannot complete both units because they are too similar. For example, FREN1401 French Studies 1 is incompatible with FREN1101 French Beginners I.

 

If a unit has an incompatibility it will be listed in the ‘Unit Rules’ in the online UWA Handbook entry for each unit. If you need advice on incompatibilities then contact a student adviser from your assigned Student Advising Office displayed on your studentConnect.
