Australia Awards Introductory Academic Program
Do I need to attend the Introductory Academic Program (IAP) before my main course if I'm an Australia Awards Awardee?

The IAP is compulsory and UWA reports student attendance to the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT). If you cannot arrive in time for the IAP, it is recommended you defer until the next semester.
Australia Awards scholarship students commence their IAP around five days after the recommended arrival date. The IAP is designed to provide you with the best possible start to your studies.
