The UWA Library Guides have been developed by UWA Librarians, to support you with your assignments, academic work and research. You can find them in the 'Essential services' section of our University Library homepage, by clicking on the Library Guides link. They can also be found online, by searching 'UWA Library Guides'.
The Library Guides collection can be used by students and academics and consists of 3 sections:
- The 'Finding Information and Resources' section offers advice on how to find sources of information from various disciplines, using effective search strategies and how to use and evaluate that information, for credibility and relevance.
- The 'For Researchers' section offers guidance relating to copyright, collecting, managing and publishing, conducting systematic reviews, citation analysis and much more.
- The 'Referencing' section will support you to act with academic integrity. In this section you will find a Guide for each of the UWA supported referencing styles, to help you reference your sources correctly. You will also find Guides for referencing software such as EndNote and Mendeley.
Finally, on the Library Guides web page, you will find links to other useful library services, study skills and learning resources.
