Your viva voce is scheduled approximately between 11 to 13 weeks from when your examination commences. This is to allow sufficient time for your examiners to assess the thesis and for the Board of the Graduate Research School to review the reports.

 

The GRS Examinations team will reach out to both of your examiners to secure a suitable date and time. Once it is confirmed, you will be contacted at least 3 to 4 weeks ahead of time to clear your schedule for the viva voce examination. Where there is an unavoidable change in date request from the examiners at late notice, you may be informed in less than 3 weeks, and we will make every effort to consider your prior commitments.

 

Please note that due to differing time zones, your viva voce may occur outside of standard work hours.
