Typically, students complete the internship as part of their course for credit. However, if you're unable to take the internship for credit due to curriculum restrictions or visa requirements, the McCusker Centre for Citizenship may offer the internship as a micro-credential. It's important to note the micro-credential is separate from your course and cannot be counted towards your course credit at a later time. You should discuss your situation with the McCusker Centre for Citizenship to determine the best option for your circumstances.
